Steele Sanderson has always been my safe place.
My best friend.
My constant.
My person.
So when I walk in on my boyfriend—who also happens to be my boss—screwing a colleague on his desk, it’s Steele who picks up the pieces.
Now I’m living in his penthouse, crashing in his guest room, and working as his assistant while I figure out what’s next. Every day, I tell myself this is temporary. That just because he looks at me like I already belong to him doesn’t mean I actually do.
Except... Steele doesn’t see it that way.
To him, I’ve always been his.
The only one he’s ever wanted.
The only one he’s ever loved.
He’s protective.
Possessive.
And done waiting.
I keep telling myself that crossing the line could ruin everything—that risking our friendship isn’t worth it. But when he offers a friends-with-benefits arrangement, promising to give me everything I’ve secretly craved, how can I possibly say no?
It doesn’t take long for the lines between us to blur.
Now I have to decide—keep pretending nothing’s changed or finally give in to the man who’s been right in front of me all along.
Make Me Yours is a swoony, boy-obsessed, friends-to-lovers steamy romance with close proximity, undeniable tension, and a hero who has always been all in. It’s the first book in the Chicago Railers series and can be read as a standalone.
'𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐄 𝐌𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒' Is a full length friends-to-lovers, off-limits, pro hockey romance book from author Jennifer Sucevic. Spoken in dual POV's. (STEELE & LILAH)
I haven't read a book by this author in ages, or a hockey book for that matter so when I saw this one doing the rounds I couldn't help but jump on it..Once this landed, I jumped in straight away and got wrapped up in the feels like a cozy blanket.
This was the friends to lovers story I couldn’t wait to read, their transition from friends to more was everything I was seeking and was executed perfectly. Steele had been in love with his best friend for many years, but timing seemed to get in the way..
When she catches her boyfriend in the act with his secretary Steele doesn't hesitate when he offers her to stay with him at his apartment complex. Once she's under his roof he's hoping it doesn't take long until she's sharing his bed.
I seriously loved Steele, he'd do anything for Lilah and he went above and beyond when she needed him. He's that one constant guy in her life that's always been there for her. So these two becoming more made sense. They were perfect for each other, knew each other inside and out. And it didn't take long for LIlah to realise that there's always been something there simmering in the background between the two.
Summing it up if you're a fan of friends-to-lovers then this book is the perfect one to sink your teeth into, a slow burn that gets its hooks into you effortlessly..
