I was untouchable.
A mafia daughter. A princess in my father’s empire.
Until Bam decided otherwise.
The enforcer of the Feral Boys doesn’t respect bloodlines.
He corners me with knives and bruises, kisses and threats.
The Night Hunt should’ve been a game.
Instead, it became a war.
And in the chaos, I learned the truth—
Even royalty bleeds when the monster bites.

I’ve finally found myself a winner amongst these feral boys, and his name is Bam, he wasn't raised with a silver spoon in his mouth, he was raised in blood and death, he fast became my favourite, his presence was more commanding, strategic, calculated, he didn't give chase he walked at a leisurely pace as though out on a stroll. He wasn't so much about breaking her, he wanted to protect her. He was always calm and collected, he'd learnt from an early age to fight for himself, knowing that his only survival in this world was using his fists.
Dahlia is a mafia princess who in the grand scheme of things is untouchable, her participation in the hunt is an object on a chess board, she's not there to make enemies, but to be protected, and to solidify her own allies till the time she takes over from her father.
‣ (“Bam Ellis-Black. Westpoint's hired monster. Feral Boy, student enforcer. The only animal trusted to keep the Don's daughter alive, or rip her apart if the Board so orders.”)
This like the previous books are very insta, fast paced, and to date each boy has come away with an HEA with a girl on their arms.
This hunt was flipped on its axles, more action packed, this one came at us guns blazing, literally, and gave me that heart pumping adrenaline boost I’d been seeking. I even enjoyed how past characters weren't forgotten about, they still make their appearance known throughout this series.
