Hollywood bad boy Brad Sinclair always gets his way, whether it’s the role he wants or the bikini-clad model he has to have. But when a bombshell gets dropped in his lap in the form of a dimpled five-year-old from a forgotten relationship, he knows his life is about to change forever.
Cara DuMont isn’t exactly thrilled when she gets assigned to be the nanny for the latest box-office king. She has one rule: no celebrity fathers, especially single ones with devilish good looks and rock-hard abs.

Pokes head out from under rock *whispers this is my first time read by this author* slinks back under rock..
A standalone romance about a Nanny, a Hollywood star, and a love they never expected. Bombshell by CD Reiss is the first instalment in the Hollywood A-List series and is spoken in ‘Dual Perspectives. In this instalment we meet Hollywood elite bad boy Brad Sinclair, his nanny Cara DuMont, her best friend Blakely and the most adorable five year old you could ever wish to read about. You zip it..Lock it..Put it in your pocket..
Hollywood bad boy Brad Sinclair unbeknown to him six years before he became famous had a brief fling which resulted in a child which he didn't know about. Brad had been contacted as next of kin as his name was on the deceased mother's birth certificate as being the father of her child, the mother had died suddenly in a freeway accident. Life as the party goer was going to change in the blink of an eye.
Cara unexpectedly became this little girl Nicole's nanny by default for a month until a more suitable child minder could be found. She was used to working alongside celebrities and actors.
A slow burn is lit under Brad and Cara which slowly ignites into a roaring out of control fire, even though they both tried to fight their attraction as much as they could once lit it wouldn’t go out.
I wanted a real home. A stable person to spend my life with, and they were in short supply. I hadn't given up; I'd just stopped looking for a man.
This guy could ruin me. He had all the tools to do it. He was gor-geous and laid-back. He listened when I spoke and had a daughter who was just about perfect.
What I enjoyed about this was the lack of angst, drama, it was just a straightforward romance which made it so much more believable, there was no sugar coating of the story which for me was like a breath of fresh air. I loved the whole glitz and glamour of this story, the unique first meet between them had me loving this story from the get go.
Twenty-four-year-old Nicole Fletcher is having a rough summer. The woman who raised her is dying and there’s nothing she can do about it. Nothing but find solace in the forbidden fantasies starring her best friend’s younger brother. Nic knows there are some lines you can never cross – but when it comes to “little” Landon Pike, she kind of already has. She tries to stay away but when your world is falling apart, you can’t help but fall right along with it. Good thing Landon refuses to let her fall alone.
A thought provoking emotional read of one girls struggle to come to terms with death of a loved one and finding love in chaos.
In life there are always lines we never allow ourselves to cross that’s no different for Twenty-four-year-old Nicole Fletcher aka (Nic) when it comes to never crossing that line with her best friend's younger brother Landon Pike, even though it would be an easy line to cross even whilst yelling in her head No No No, that line getting crossed is inevitable.
He knows I want him. I want him too. But it doesn’t really matter because he’s Aubrey’s brother. Her younger brother. And some lines you just never cross.
Nothing prepares you for the time when you have to say goodbye to a loved one, no deadline will ever prepare you, nothing will numb that inevitable pain that is going to hit you no matter how prepared you think you are going to be.
Nic wasn't prepared to say goodbye to Lorraine Fletcher who was diagnosed with terminal cancer and was living out the last of her days at home under full time hospice care, Lorraine had been like a mother to Nic for nearly most of her life when her birth mother walked away from that responsibility never to be seen again.
It took a lot of perseverance on Landon's part to convince Nic that she should give them a go, I found him so mature for his age, in some places he came across a lot older than this character showed him to be.
This was a first time read for me by this author and I am so so glad she approached me to review this book because I absolutely loved it. The only problem I did find with this was within the first chapter or so we learned that these two apparently had hooked up a year ago, in the ‘Prologue' I would’ve loved for that to be elaborated more, just to give us more background information on these two, because without that it kind of made it hard for me to connect with the story during the early stages, until I got further into it, it came into it's own and I found I was devouring the pages. I cray cray loved Landon's character and I could totally relate to Nic's dilemma as when I met my partner (6 years younger) so I was able to connect with her character on a very personal level.

This was an unexpected little gem. I was expecting a ridiculously OTT quick smut read, what I got was a little OTT but this story has guts and a great plot.
Abigail/Cherish and James are raised in a cult and have loved each other since they were children. After being caught kissing as teens James is shunned from the elders and forced to do hard labour, he is given many chances to escape but decided to stay to take care of Cherish is safe.
It is when her father sells her to another elder that things get really interesting and intense. What happens between these two is OTT but done really well. It has a little element of suspense, drama and romance with some LOL one liners and phrases.
She is fucking Spun sugar and I want another piece of her cunt-candy.
She is my gentle flower that is finally in bloom. I want to examine her petals, let her take hold of my stem.
The best one is:
Sitting here with Jame'sBaby Gravy in my stomach!!
James seems to have super sperm and miraculously manages to knock Cherish up each time they hook up. It's the surprises that come with the pregnancies that make his sperm Super sperm'
I loved this couples love for The Beach Boys classics and found myself humming them while I read.
If you enjoy a quick read with a mix of OTT ridiculousness but with a really good plot, then you have to give this one a go.
Alone at a bar, recently fired from my job and about to move, no one will notice that I’ve gone missing, and my abductors know it. Smuggled to a secluded facility in the mountains, locked in a cell and stripped of my dignity, they’ve threatened me with a fate worse than death. They aim to break my will. They plan to erase me.
My captors are vicious monsters, except for one: the doctor, Gabriel. He urges me to accept their control and spare myself months, or even years, of pain and torment. Yet his merciful demeanor hides a dark, burning secret. Smoldering and mysterious, I’m drawn to him and his talk of submission. He may be my best shot at escape, but I hunger for far more.
With Gabriel’s help, the others will pay for what they’ve done to me. They wanted a toy, but they’ve woken a terror...
If I’d known the truth about Halloran Asylum, I would have burned it to the ground long ago. Now I’m an accessory to unspeakable crimes, and no one will ever believe my story. For years I made peace with fate, but after a violent episode pushes me to the edge, I swore never to let them harm anyone else. Now they’ve taken another, and I can’t let it go.
I need to make Marla understand her strength and resolve will only cause her greater suffering. At first, training her is just a way of buying time, but her response to my touch, my command, drives me wild. I have to have her, but standing in my way is a horrid truth that could cost me her trust. If that happens, we’ll both be lost, trapped in this place forever.
I don’t care. I’ll risk everything for Marla, even if it means letting out the beast within...
Publisher’s note: “Erased” is a dark, romantic thriller with erotic content, no cliffhangers, no cheating and a HEA. It contains material some may find disturbing. Reader discretion is advised.
When it comes to seeing a review/request for a dark romance you bet your ass I’ll be signing up for it!!
No one will miss her, no one will coming looking for her, no one will question her disappearance
ERASED: We first meet Marla, an attractive female who's recently been fired from her job as a news reporter alone in a bar on the outskirts of town which caters to all sorts, from bikers to out of townies to students. This supposedly being her last night in town before she moves on.
Just as she’s on the verge of calling it a night she meets a guy that straight away sends a warning vibe coursing through her body but ignores it and figures why not have one more drink for the road.
Striding out of the bar and awaiting a taxi to arrive she’s taken, abducted, her pepper spray she had on the ready dropped and lost to her, a cloth of some sort thrown over her head lights out, the world ceases to exist.
Waking up and being jostled around like a sack of potatoes in a moving vehicle it’s some time before they arrive at their destination where she meets other undesirable characters one darker, more menacing than the next. But one man stands out above these vicious monsters and that's Gabriel the doctor.
Taken, bound, held prisoner in a padded cell, submitted to unthinkable sexual advances by her captors. many twists and turns that had me biting my nails, wanting, needing, to read faster to see what was going to come at me next.
He's always watching
You're here to obey
Her captors have awoken a dark yearning within herself, she's succumbing, craving his advances.
TO SUM IT ALL UP: It took me a while to get into this, used to the author's writing style, as it seemed as though it was overworded, disjointed, and it took me a while to connect on all levels with the story. Thoughts that kept screaming through my mind as I was reading it were: For me to connect with her character I needed to feel that terror of being kidnapped, forced into a situation out of her hands, I expected more, more fight, more cussing, maim, strike out, bite, kick, we know she's capable of it from one scene but after that it seemed like she'd given up.
I was also hoping it would delve more into Iris, we're kind of left with alot of questions that were never fully answered.
BUT then the story like a switch turned around for me, because as soon as I reached about half way I really started getting into the book to the point where even though I was bone tired and sleep was calling me I couldn't put this down. I devoured the pages, chapter by chapter just to see how it all would end, is he friend or foe? Thoughts that kept racing through my mind like a broken record, can he be trusted?
