❥ ARC REVIEW ❥ INDIGO RIDGE (THE EDENS #1) BY DEVNEY PERRY

TITLE: INDIGO RIDGE
SERIES: THE EDENS #1
AUTHOR: DEVNEY PERRY
GENRE: SMALL TOWN ROMANCE
PUBLICATION: OCTOBER 26TH, 2021
'Synopsis'
From USA Today Bestselling Author Devney Perry comes a small town, enemies-to-lovers contemporary romance.

Winslow Covington believes in life, liberty and the letter of the law. As Quincy, Montana’s new chief of police, she’s determined to prove herself to the community and show them she didn’t earn her position because her grandfather is the mayor.

According to her pops, all she has to do is earn favor with the Edens. But winning over the town’s founding family might have been easier if not for her one-night stand with their oldest son. In her defense, it was her first night in town and she didn’t realize that the rugged and charming man who wooed her into bed was Quincy royalty.

Sleeping with Griffin Eden was a huge mistake, one she’s trying to forget. He’s insufferable, arrogant and keeps reminding everyone that she’s an outsider. Winslow does her best to avoid Griffin, but when a woman is found dead on Eden property, the two of them have no choice but to cross paths.

As clues to the murderer lead to one of Quincy’s own, Griffin realizes Winslow is more than he gave her credit for. Beautiful and intelligent, she proves hard to resist. For him. And the killer.

'My Review'

📚'INDIGO RIDGE' 📚
Is the first full length small town romance book in the series 'The Edens', by Devney Perry. Spoken in 'Dual Perspectives.'

Come on GR's sort this image upload problem out already, it's been 2x weeks now!!

Devney Perry has done it again!! A slow burn which got its hooks into me and didn't let go until that very last page was inhaled. After the 'Gypsy kings' finished I was anticipating another series by this author to fall in love with and she delivered exactly that.

Thirty year old Winslow Covington had worked ten years with the 'Bozeman Police Department' before becoming Montana’s new chief of police, and is related to the town’s mayor.

Newly arrived in town she hooks up with a man named 'Griffin Eden' in the backseat of his truck as he's travelling through town 'or so she thought' he also assumed she was a tourist. He prefers to hook up and hook it out of there. No strings, no attachments. She's just come out of a long term relationship and isn't wanting to settle down again anytime soon.

'𝐌𝐲 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭-𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐲
𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐣𝐨𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧'𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐚 𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐝𝐞𝐧'

His focus was on his families ranch.
Her focus was on settling down in a new place and building a positive relationship with the other officers.

'𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐈'𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝.
𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐤𝐢𝐝,

𝐀 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐠𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞'

Until one of Griffin's ranch hands had stumbled across a body at the base of 'Indigo Ridge.' Supposedly another suicide.

A string of suicides mar the serenity of the place, at least a handful of young woman in their twenties have been taking their own lives and plummeting off a cliff side.

But behind these strings of yearly deaths Griffin and Winn struggle to fight their attraction towards each other. Their magnetism sparked off the pages, they were perfect for each other.

'𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐝𝐞𝐧
𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠.
𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜,
𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐝
𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝.'

I can't wait to dive back into this new world again. This was the perfect introduction to what I can only imagine to be a perfect series.
