It turns out, I wasn’t just running away from terror—I was unwittingly walking straight back into its chilling embrace.
Attempting to adjust to my new life of madness, I find myself plunged into a waking nightmare: Hellion, the ringleader of The Hollow’s. With eyes like swirling vortexes and tattoos that seem to writhe and pulse across his skin, he ensnares me in his twisted web, his sinister obsession fixating on his broken dolly.
Hellion seeks to shatter me, to break me down through pain and suffering for his own sick pleasure. But what he fails to realize is that pain is not foreign to me—it’s my home. As he delves deeper into his depraved games, he’ll come to understand that I am not so easily broken. My Review
'𝐇O𝐋L𝐎W H𝐄L𝐋I𝐎N' Is a full length dark horror romance book by new to me author Jodie King. Spoken in 'dual perspectives.' Hellion (aka Hell) & Noir
Of course my eyes landed on the C𝐑E𝐄P𝐘 cover and screamed 𝐌U𝐒T R𝐄A𝐃, then I read the blurb and from that point onwards I was sold. As soon as I started this, I was hooked, and it was definitely all that I was hoping for. Throw in creepy assed clowns and a secret society and I was in my happy place devouring this like my last breath depended on it.
This is one circus you never want to step into after hours..

Once Hell clapped eyes on Noir he became a man obsessed and nothing and no one would stand in his way of claiming her. Noir was totally unexpected, she escaped one psychopath only to land in anothers, she sought work as a dancer at the 'Oddity Carnival & Cirque' where she knew she could stay hidden. Hell is one morally unhinged pitch dark character, a programmed natural born killer and kills without remorse, if they have landed in his lap then its his job to obliterate them from this earth especially if they had gone against the society.
After reading this I really want to read whatever else this new to me author has written. This ticked so many boxes, the twists and turns just kept on coming, the boys will grab you by the throat and not let go because these boys thrive in the darkness.
