8 years it took for the author to wrap this series up and I was on that ride from the get go. Once I knew this was finally getting published a re read commenced and my whole weekend was taken over with this series.
The wrapping up of this wrung so many emotions out of me, closing that last page was like saying goodbye to family, these two went through so much for it only to come to an end so swiftly, I raged, I sobbed, I hated the unfairness of it all, why why why!?! After all this time, craving, needing, seeking their HEA. Freedom was right in their grasp!! I'm never going to get over this book!!
Happy parts, sad parts, and everything in between, this series will always have a place in my heart. I'm devastated, and just can not for the life of me comprehend their ending. So many dead, so many lives destroyed, but throughout I always rooted for these two, even though I’m heartbroken with the outcome and can’t believe it came to that as tears slid down my face, no matter what I’m glad I read this series!
This was such a rollercoaster of an emotional ride from the very first book to this one.
I feel like I've lived a thousand life times, pulled through the wringer, the push and pull on all my emotions wrung me dry. This is a series I would definitely buy in paperback.
I truly hope we see more from this author because she definitely knows how to weave a tale that pulls you in against all odds.
