When I cross paths with a local gang member, his presence unravels a part of my past I never knew existed.
At every turn, danger leaps closer, and I realize that stopping the killer will mean losing everything—including the first man I’ve ever loved.
But I should’ve known better. We were never meant to be anything more than a brief stop in time.

Is a full length paranormal romance book by R.C. Boldt. Spoken in third person POV's. HIM: The invisible man HERO: Daniel Madrano HEROINE: Mackenzie (Mac) Ford.
Seeing the cover and teasers making the rounds on social media sites had me signing up in a heartbeat. This book pulled me in straight away and still held me in its grasp until the very last page.
I enjoyed this so much, the giggles just erupted so freely and yet again cemented why I love this author as much as I do. These two were perfection, their light hearted banter, their connection just had me devouring this.
Mac has been an outcast her whole life, scars mar her on the left side of her body, from top to bottom, she's covered the bulk of it ink to disguise the worst of it other than the one of her face. Mac has a unique ability to stop time, a perfect escape when in sticky situations. She's been suffering from debilitating migraines, blackout episodes, and has gaps in her memory. She's self taught herself the ins and outs of car maintenance, building engines and restoring them which led her to buying a salvage yard which is her passion.

Daniel or Danny as she calls him is on a path to seek vengeance for his sister's death, even though it had been many years since the day she'd up and left him with a violent stepfather she was still his blood. Her last words led him to Mac's door step.
He's also the second in command of 'The Scorpions' a notorious gang.
