SILVER ELITE: Is the first full length dystopian romance series by new to me author Dani Francis. Cross & Wren
This book right here has jumped onto my feed soooo many times, not my usual cup of tea but I had to see what all the fuss was about!!
After purchasing this, I dived right in, and OMFG I was HOOKED straight away! All the FEELS, between worrying if Wren would get caught and loving her and Cross together, I became OBSESSED!! When I should've been sleeping I was tucked up in bed reading until all hours..That old saying, one more chapter...Had so much truth too it..Because here I sit trying to write up this review tired as f#ck.
If you’ve seen this pop up on your newsfeeds and have been in two minds about reading it, look I don’t give my 5 stars away easily, the author has to work for it, it has to bring out those emotions I keep hidden away, it has to move me, it has to be unique, with strong likeable characters especially the heroine and this author nailed them all!! The banter between our hero and heroine was phenomenal and I lapped up every second of it, I giggled, I swooned, I fell in love..
To reveal who she really was could get her killed, so when Wren's thrust into a den of vipers who kill her kind my heart automatically missed a beat. They are all her enemies..How was she going to get out of this clusterf#ck? Then to start falling for the commander's son was like a death sentence coming at her full speed, but when those lines became blurred was he friend or foe? Then when that one name is uttered (Wolfe) I danced around like a giddy school girl. The academy setting and the drills they had to complete and the friendships forged made it so much more enjoyable.
The twists and turns was like a maze as I sat there gobsmacked, especially that one at the end. Like an adrenaline junky needing my next fix I can not for the life of me wait for the next book!! This isn’t something I would normally read but thank god I took that plunge!!
