Willa Doon has always been shy. Her quiet demeanor was something she’s always embraced. That is, until Jackson Page moves to town. The one man she desperately wants to take notice struggles to remember her name.
Year after year, Willa stands by, watching as the bartender slash playboy drowns his demons in beer and sex. Then one night, he shows up at her door, suddenly aware that the girl he’s seen around Lark Cove is now a beautiful woman.
Except what he doesn’t remember is that this visit isn’t his first. They spent a night together once before. A night he’s forgotten, thanks to a bottle of tequila.
A night that crushed a timid girl’s heart, and set a broken man on the path to heal them both.

TIMID:
is the second full length novel in Denver Perry’s ‘Lark Cove' series. This is Willa Doon & Jackson Page’s story who we’re first introduced to in ‘Tattered.’ Spoken in ‘Dual Perspectives.’
Willa has silently from afar has been crushing on Jackson since her late teens..
“One day I am going to marry Jackson Page. I just had to get him to notice me first.” when she first met him at their local service station and he was the hot new comer in town.
”Jackson and Willa. Willa and Jackson. Our names went together like peanut butter and jelly.
As the years go by, Twenty-six year old Willa silently stands by watching as thirty-one year old commitment phobe, Jackson drowns his demons in bimbos, floozies and beer, I wasn't the guy you brought home to meet Daddy. never seeing her patiently waiting in the shadows for the day to come when he’ll notice her, the shy girl, the timid girl, that’s loved Jackson for many many years. But despite all his indiscretions it still didn't dim Willa's crush.
A stolen first kiss, an unforgettable moment for Willa turns sour in her mouth when the very next day Jackson doesn't even look once in her direction.
Is it over before it had even begun?
I really enjoyed Willa's transgression from the timid girl to the girl with a back bone, the girl who fought for those she loved, those she believed in.
Jackson had me cringing so many times I lost count, the guy was just as clueless as they came, so many times I wanted to slap him upside the head, I really didn't think I'd like this character but slowly oh so slowly he even managed to worm his way into my heart.
After reading and enjoying the first book in this series I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book, the town whore shacking up with the timid mouse, it just calls for all those feels to come at you!! AND OMG did they come at you!! I floved this, all the feels in the world, this book was so worth the wait, I loved these two!! The little twists and turns this took me on just added to how much I didn't want this book to end.
