TITLE: Boys of Brayshaw High
SERIES: Brayshaw High #1
AUTHOR: Meagan Brandy
GENRE: New Adult
PUBLICATION: January 17th, 2019
Synopsis
"Girls like you aren't exactly welcomed at a place like this, so keep your head down and look the other way."
Those were the exact words of my social worker when she dropped me in my newest hellhole, a place for "troubled teens".
I didn't listen, and now I'm on their radar.
They expect me to play along in their games of hierarchy, to fall in line in the social order they've deemed me fit.
Too bad for them, I don't follow rules.
Too bad for me, they're determined to make sure I do.
Inconceivably attractive and treated like kings...these are the boys of Brayshaw High.
And I'm the girl who got in their way.

My Review
’BOYS OF BRAYSHAW HIGH’
Is a full length ‘New Adult’ novel by new to me author ‘Meagan Brandy’ and is book#1 in her ‘Brayshaw High’ Series.
Seventeen year old Raven or Rae as she likes to be called is a tough, sassy mouthed, feisty, free spirited, fist fighting tough heroine. She’s been handed a shitastic life with a mother that could give two shits about her. She maybe tough but she is one of the most likeable heroines to date, I loved her character. Raised in a trailer part with a hooker for a mother, Rae has street smarts down pat. I'm the daughter of a whore, dirty by default. Guilty by association With a take no shit attitude she gives back what is dished out, hence the reason why she has been expelled and removed from her third highschool in eighteen months,
and placed in a group home 'The Bray House' a girls only home for troubled teens Who am I? Just the latest trash dropped on a rickety doorstep with not a soul's back to lean against. Forever the unwanted outsider, something I've always told myself I was okay with. and where she now attends Brayshaw high that is run with an iron fist with boys you don’t want to cross. These are The Kings of Brayshaw High. Captain, Royce and Maddoc. Guys you do not want to mess with.
They're the big deal around here, and not just at the school. You either kneel at their feet or get stomped under them.
They move together like a well oiled machine. They're connected on a deeper level than what outsiders eyes can see, they seem to know what the other is thinking. This must be a part of why they're loved and feared. Or secretly hated, but respected nonetheless. Because in the company of others they work as one.
I kind of signed up for this one on a whim, didn’t know what I was getting myself into, was I nervous, hell to the yes, I always am when I start a book by a new author to me, but omg this book guys, you need to read it, seriously this author went from an unknown, to getting put on my gps author stalker route on facebook, to this book right here becoming my first favourite book for 2019!!
The sexual tension between Maddoc and Raven was off the charts hot, I loved the build up, the pages just sizzled with the frustration. When they finally connected my heart was full. I loved these two, their banter, his alpha all in her face attitude, god he had my heart from the get go.
I don't even have the words to convey how much I freaking LOVED this book, all the feels in the world, the stabby angst 🔪🔪 the high school a-holes, teenage drama, god this book was so so good!! Like seriously come release day, stop what your'e doing, throw a sicky do what ever you need to do to one click this and read it. I highly recommend this book. These characters need to be in your life, you won't regret it!!
'The Boys of Brayshaw High' was a pull at your heartstrings kind of book. I absolutely loved it. Every page pulled me in deeper and deeper. The characters were intricate and real. It had everything a romance reader could ask for. I for one can not wait to see what the next books bring us.
