Kat's Review
‘ALL THE UGLY AND WONDERFUL THINGS’
Is a full length, stand-alone romance taboo novel by new to me Author Bryn Greenwood.
*Gulps* I've always wanted to read this, I even one clicked this release day all those years ago in 2016 and it has been glaring at me collecting dust in my ipad, ever since, never to be read, until now..
This book right here, kind of pushes ALL your comfort ZONES, it makes you question your morals, it made me HATE and LOVE this story all in the same heart beat, my mind was screaming all theTABOO thoughts in the world but my heart was yelling loudly how undeniably beautiful this was.
She was a minor he was so much older but they had such an unquestionable unique bond between them, he was her pillar of strength, she was his calm in the storm.
This pulled me in so many directions, the feels just kept coming, I went into this blind, but came away with a full heart, I can't even describe how this book made me feel.
Words can't really convey how much I loved this, it was so child like in it's approach, so unique, so wrong, but oh so right in other instances, so different to anything I have ever read before.
My emotions went up and down like a yoyo they were all over the place, this ticked all my boxes, times I was uncomfortable, times I was smiling, others I was sad, sitting in disbelief, speechless, my heart went out for Wavy. My head and heart went to battle against each other, my head was screaming nooooo it's so so wrong, but my heart cried at how right these two were for each other.
I am so glad I finally got to reading this, and I swear this won't be the last book I read of this authors.
