My Review
'DESCENT'
Is a full length standalone dark romance novel by Natasha Knight. In this we meet Persephone & Hayden aka Hades. Spoken in 'Dual Perspectives.'
PAST: Persephone and Hades had known each other when she was a child and he a teenager, one Halloween night he had stepped in and rescued her from his stepsister and stepbrother from their family chapel when something underhanded seemed to be taking place. He whisked her away to safety and that was the last time he'd laid eyes on her.
FAST FORWARD FIVE YEARS: Persephone Abbot is left floundering in the wake of her fathers near death after a hit and run has him bedridden barely hanging on to life, that's not the only thing that has her tethering on the edge because everything within the walls of their empire comes crumbling down in a shower of financial ruin.
“Hades. He was my savior once. Twice. Now he's become my tormentor. And I don't ever want him to let me go.”
Enter Hades. He has an unorthodox proposition securing her as his. An eye for an eye. Being stuck between a brick and a hard place she has no choice but to jump in with the devil surrendering her body and soul in the process.
