MY REVIEW
I went into this one completely blind, I loved the cover and the synopsis intrigued me enough to sign up, throw in that it was by a new to me author to boot and I wanted to give it a try. A slow burn which got its hooks into me straight away making it seemingly effortless with how I connected with our main characters, throw in an unhinged stalker of an ex and I was lapping this story up like there was no tomorrow.
When one door closed as Charlie got laid off from her job at a call centre another door opened that very same day with an opportunity of becoming her own boss and opening her own business as a baker which she'd always dreamed of doing and it's bar owner Alex the guy who has admired her from afar that offers her that dream on a silver platter.
After she'd been burn't by her ex boyfriend she'd been single for a year licking her wounds in private and its opened the door up for Alex to make his move. He knew her ex wasn't right for her. Even though Alex is a one nighter kind of guy Charlie is a game stopper, he wants to go all in with her, show her how a lady should be treated.
