Synopsis
A troubled young mother yearns for a shot at redemption in this heartbreaking yet hopeful story from #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover.
After serving five years in prison for a tragic mistake, Kenna Rowan returns to the town where it all went wrong, hoping to reunite with her four-year-old daughter. But the bridges Kenna burned are proving impossible to rebuild. Everyone in her daughter’s life is determined to shut Kenna out, no matter how hard she works to prove herself.
The only person who hasn’t closed the door on her completely is Ledger Ward, a local bar owner and one of the few remaining links to Kenna’s daughter. But if anyone were to discover how Ledger is slowly becoming an important part of Kenna’s life, both would risk losing the trust of everyone important to them.
The two form a connection despite the pressure surrounding them, but as their romance grows, so does the risk. Kenna must find a way to absolve the mistakes of her past in order to build a future out of hope and healing.

My Review
📚 REMINDERS OF HIM 📚
Is a full length emotionally charged, stand-alone romance book, by Colleen Hoover.
Is that a f*#%ing pigeon?!
Twenty-six year old Kenna Rowan, is free after spending five years incarcerated for a tragic life changing incident which changed the lives of those forever that were impacted by the results of one bad decision which had a domino effect on so many lives.
She wasn't the only one who suffered so dearly. She also has lost so much.
Now she's back in a town, a town where it happened, a town where everyone knows her name, now she's trying to gather the strength to hopefully meet the daughter that was taken from her. One day at a time.
But a few things stand in her way, one is a restraining order, two she has no rights and three she has no money to her name. She's all alone in a place where no one wants her.
This was Inhaled, devoured, I cried, I laughed, and felt every emotion possible, raw, realistic, and I freaking loved every single thing about this book.
Such an emotional thought provoking storyline, but one thing I have noticed with this author is that she LOVES her car wrecks.
Ex footy player with the Bronco's now runs a bar and from the moment he encountered Kenna he was intrigued by the mystery which surrounded her.
This made me sit back so many times, made me look at both sides of the story. And I felt deeply for our heroine and the parents who were impacted by tragedy, how could you move on, how could you forgive, and then to rub salt into the wound Ledger Ward who owns a bar, who has ties to Kenna's daughter falls in love with the heroine. God they had their work cut out for them. I weeped for them, my tears probably filling up a swimming pool.
Talk about rip my heart out..
This author has such an uncanny effortless knack of making us readers fall under her spell time and time again.
