Is a full length standalone romance book by author M.N. Forgy. This is told solely in Rain’s POV
I'd seen this doing the rounds on facebook and I couldn't wait to get my hands on it, my anticipation levels were through the roof so as soon as this landed on my kindle I became a hermit.
As Rain Adler and her thirteen year old daughter Paige are on the road to a new beginning, new life, new house without Rain'e much loved mother beside them, they are back ended by another vehicle. Heston Thayer was the very apologetic driver who bent over backwards to make up for the accident. Even getting them to the hospital safely for Paige to get checked out due to a gash on her face.
One thing leads to another and this isn't the last we see of Heston, he slowly immerses himself into their lives. He's handsome, doting, and he seems to care about then dearly.
But things aren't as they seem, throw in a few twists and turns and it all slowly made sense.
This was so easy to get into, I loved the neighbourhood dynamics from over the top nosy, to pushy, to always knowing each others business, to the houses and their painted doors, I felt like I was right there alongside them all.
