Is a coming-of-age romance that fans of The Ribbon Duet will love. Combining the beautiful drama of Nicholas Sparks with the brutality of dark romance, Pepper Winters has created a tale of soulmates, secrets, cruelty, and heart-wrenching love.

OMG I adored the shit out of this book, the storyline, and the characters were beyond unique, this was everything I could’ve wished for.

The story played out in techno colour as though I was right there, the marine ecosystems were brought to life. Their overpowering bond was everything I craved and more. Yet again Pepper cemented why she’s my unicorn 🦄 author. Days later and this book is still on my mind, in my heart, Pepper came out swinging and took me hostage, and I hope she never lets me go. This stole my every breath, captured my soul, and took me on such a unique beautiful journey which I never want to get off.

Imagine plucking your soul mate out of the ocean, the person created just for you, your protector, your everything, your one true love, the very same one what would kill for you. He was her soul reason of existence. She was his soul reason for surviving.

The cliffy (yes there’s a cliffy) broke me, my heart got shattered, how good intentions turned disastrous which has me begging/anticipating the next book like no other!!
