Is a full length, standalone MC romance book by author Tijan. Spoken in 'dual perspectives.' (Shane & Kali)
I'd been eyeballing and stalking this like a woman unhinged and on a mission once that signup did the rounds my fingers worked fasted than ever to sign up...

Like with any book this author writes, I dived right in and life carried on around me, straight away I was pulled in, this unicorn author sprinkled her magical words and this book was inhaled.
It’s been years since I’ve read an MC book and it felt like I was coming home from a long trip away, this used to be my go to genre so maybe now it’s time for me to jump back into the MC world and I’m glad it was Tijan reinforcing my love for this genre.
What I really enjoyed about this book was the fact that these two characters were in their late 30's, which I found really refreshing..
Thirty six year old Kali is back in the town of Friendly, Indiana after a failed marriage and is running the local convenience store. She's estranged from her sister and mother and hasn't had much to do with them since her marriage.
Shane (Ghost) also had left town many years ago after too many fights and landing himself a stint in juvie, all had lost touch with him other than her brother who he kept in close contact with. It's this close bond that has him coming back to his home town due to a favour his club owes her brothers family.
Shane is also the guy that Kali had a huge crush on back in highschool.
Shane loves his club above all else, and would do anything for them, so with this in mind he owes a favour to Kali's brother and he's in town to settle that dept.
With this debt supposedly squared away Shane then leaves town, but Kali's sister abruptly takes off after them which has these girls mother in a tailspin and asks Kali to grab her and bring her back home. Hense a road trip entails with her two best friends in tow.
