SEX, NOT LOVE: Is a new standalone sexy contemporary romance novel by Vi Keeland. In this we meet Nat who is a divorced twenty eight year old behavioural therapist with full custody of her fifteen year old step daughter. And Hunter Delucia a twenty nine year old travelling architectectural.
I prefer to live my life looking forward, not backward. You look in the rear view mirror too often, sometimes you miss what's right in front of you.
Attending both of their respective best friends wedding party it's here where Nat (Natalia) meets Hunter Delucia, a cocky, delectable dirty talking sexy bastard. When these two meet the sparks fly off the pages, you can feel the fire heating up it just sizzles off the pages and you can’t help but get caught up in their inferno. Complete opposites who might kill each other.
After many countless drinks later Nat ends up spending the night in Hunters hotel room, the next morning he unashamedly begs for her phone number where she knowingly passes off the wrong number.
There is no way I was keeping in touch with a man living three-hundred miles away. A guy like him was the last thing I needed.
Nearly a later they see each other again during the shower party for their respective best friends, to ward him off again this time she gives him her mother's number. I'd given Hunter the number as a joke, thinking he'd take the not so subtle hint. Not to be put off Hunter takes a job in Nat's town for two months and woes her mother off her feet and is welcomed into her home and family.
I'm only in town for two months. We could agree to be not-celibate together-just sex and fun, with an expiration date. We could get lost in each other in the bedroom only. Think about it. Sex, not love.
Sex, not love that's how it all started. But sometimes just sometimes it takes the right woman to come along.
How could this not be a five star read, I loved this from the get go, it was effortless to fall in lust with these two characters, such a beautiful heartfelt journey that had me zipping through those pages like a woman possessed. Vi Keeland yet again waved her magic wand and brought me a book that I devoured in hours. There is absolutely nothing I would change about this novel. I can’t express enough how much I love this author, the humour she injects into her books is what makes me keep coming back for more

From #1 New York Times Bestseller Vi Keeland, comes a new, sexy standalone novel.
My relationship with Hunter Delucia started backwards.
We met at a wedding—him sitting on the groom’s side, me sitting on the bride’s. Stealing glances at each other throughout the night, there was no denying an intense, mutual attraction.
I caught the bouquet; he caught the garter. Hunter held me tightly while we danced and suggested we explore the chemistry sparking between us. His blunt, dirty mouth should’ve turned me off. But for some crazy reason, it had the opposite effect on me.
We ended up back in my hotel room. The next morning, I headed home to New York leaving him behind in California with the wrong number.
I thought about him often, but after my last relationship, I’d sworn off of charming, cocky, gorgeous-as-sin men. A year later, Hunter and I met again at the birth of our friends’ baby. Our attraction hadn't dulled one bit. After a whirlwind trip, he demanded a real phone number this time. So I left him with my mother’s—she could scare away any man with her talks of babies and marriage—and flew back home.
I’d thought it was funny, until the following week when he rang the bell at Mom’s house for Sunday night dinner. The crazy, gorgeous man had won over my mother and taken an eight-week assignment in my city. He proposed we spend that time screwing each other out of our systems.
Eight weeks of mind-blowing sex with no strings attached? What did I have to lose?
Nothing, I thought.
It’s just sex, not love.
But you know what they say about the best laid plans…
