'TITAN'
is the first full length book in new to me author's Shantel Tessier's 'Dark Kings' series. This story focuses on Emilee and Titan, (Titan is one of the Dark King's)
What a complex tantalising story this one turned out to be, though I was expecting it to be a little bit darker than it was I was still engrossed with the story throughout. The twisty little twist and turns this threw up had me rejoicing with how blindsided I was, I never saw them coming!!
From start to finish I loved everything this author threw at me. And I really can't wait to read more of these guys stories.
So we have the four guys which make up the 'Dark King's they all go way back. They were trained to take over this world from a young age and were prepared with all it entailed.
Emilee has been living in New York the last few years but has had to come home due to the death of her father, this is the catalyst which set the ball rolling into unknown territory. Like a domino effect her world started crumbling down around her feet. Her mother is also on deaths bed, cancer has got its claws into her, so Emilee has the world on her shoulders with no one to lean on.
To make it even more unbearable she learns that she's been left nothing, everything her father owned has been handed over to his business partner, right down to the house her mother is living in.
Now she's at the mercy of George her father's business partner. Now he's got a proposition for Emilee, if she does what he's demanding he'll pay for her mother's care.
