'BOSSY BASTARD':
Is a full length romance novel featured in the 'Cocky Hero Club' by J.L. Perry. In this we meet Ashton & Emma. Spoken in 'Dual Perspectives.'
The first meet between our hero and heroine, was utterly unique and set up this book and their interactions there after perfectly. I loved how it all played out.
Both our characters have been tarnished and burnt by past experiences which made them gun shy when it came to hooking up giving a push and pull angsty kind of read, which made for a slow burn kind of romance, once ignited was perfection, which just pulled me in more and more.
You could tell the author took her time with this book, it wasn't rushed and the characters I found were well developed and relatable, giving me a deeper connection to them.
Ashton is a one night stand pull in the ladies kind of man, he's hot and he knows it, but delve further than what we see on the surface and he's a man that's scared to give up his rules. But what he didn't count on was Emma.
Emma, is a sensitive old soul who puts others needs before her own, as we progress further in the book you see her come in her own, I don't think the author could've chosen a better leading lady for Ashton. They were truly made for each other.
I also enjoyed seeing the secondary characters story unfold so I'd be really keen if we got more of them in the future.
I'm so glad that after years not writing that J.L. Perry has made a come back with this story!!
