Is the third full length contemporary romance book in Marni Mann's 'Moments in Boston' series. This can be read as a stand-alone.

It seems like May is the month where authors have gotten together and agreed to give us those sad, emotional reads, this had me tearing up on numerous occasions. 😢 Like a yo-yo on a string the author held my heart in her hands. It's more suspenseful and a lot more darker than what we're used to when it comes to this series which will captivate a wider audience. This was such a unique, unputdownable read which had its hooks into me from that very first page as we're pulled into their whirlwind of a romance.
PAST: Ashe Flynn and Pearl Daniels meet by chance in an overcrowded corridor in college as they are rushing to their next classes. Ashe is bowled over by how beautiful she is and hasn't been able to get her out of his head since. Funnily enough his bestie and roomie Dylan had a study group planned that day at their flat when he sees her there. Fate. From then onwards he was going to make her his. He has a fight on his hands to break down her walls.

These two are as different as chalk and cheese, he has an easy go lucky time of college, she has the world on her shoulders with being the sole carer for her elderly Gran. Life has been a challenge for her.
PRESENT TIME: Many emotional curveballs came at us during this time. Eleven years gone by, a dark time for both of them. Nothing can prepare you for what's to come. I don't want to go into this area too much because you need to go in blind so that element of surprise knocks you for a sixer like it did me.
