Rose
When my mom told me we were moving to the Grove, I thought it was a joke.
Our family, one of the wealthiest in Woodbury, moving to a dump like the Grove?
Well, I guess that's what happens when you lose everything.
Now we're shoved into the house the size of a shoebox and I can literally feel the darkness seeping in around me.
But then, I meet someone with a darkness that even I can't compete with.
They call him the Reaper.

Easton
Darkness has consumed me my entire life.
I've known nothing but death and destruction, using my fists to control the beast within me.
Then, after yet another win in the ring, I find my Rose.
A little ball of light, I think.
But no, her eyes hold the familiar darkness that calls to me.
Alone, I live with my demons.
Together, we will conquer them.
Welcome to hell, baby girl.
MY REVIEW
'REAPERS AND ROSES'
Is a full length romance novel by new to me author 'A.R. Breck.' Spoken in 'Dual POV's' Hero: Easton Heroine: Rose

I just re-read this and loved it as much if not more than the 1st time around. I've only really just come across this author and she's quickly become one where I want to read all the words. Now I'm excited to jump on the next book which I didn't get to.

These two were as different as chalk and cheese, she came from money, he lived in a trailer park, he was a fighter she was a fixer, she saw the good in people, he saw the bad. But god these two together were perfect.

At seventeen years of age, Rose literally went from Riches to Rags within the blink of an eye. Moving from a 5 bedroom mansion to a two bedroom hovel in the ghetto, pulled out of her private school and having to now attend a new public school, Grove High..She's well over her head..And these three boys (Easton, Logan, Jackson) in the beginning do not make it easy for her..

He quickly became her knight in shining armour, after a few times coming to her rescue, as we near the end of this book though it does take a drastic turn for the worst, where Rose finds herself in a terrible situation and no Eastern there to save her. And that's when we're thrown over a brutal emotional cliffy that is right in your face.

Eastern and his two best mates haven't had an easy life, all thrown into a life where they each have blood on their hands, but above it all they each have the others back. I loved these guys.

I went into this pretty much blind, unknown author to me, cast my eye over the synopsis, glimpsed at the reviews but the cover got my hoe eyes one clicking.

A few editing mistakes but having come across worse didn’t hinder my reading experience at all.

I loved this from start to finish, couldn’t put it down, didn’t want it to end, until I fell over that cliffy!! That was brutal! So now like others before me I’m highly anticipating the next book! I can’t wait to see where the author is going to go next!

This was so much more than just a bully romance novel, these three boys may be the KINGS of their school but it’s the father’s you have to watch, cross them and you may end up six feet under.

BOOK #2

PUBLICATION: DECEMBER 23RD, 2019

SYNOPSIS
The final book in the Grove High Series, Reapers and Roses!

Rose
I thought I had life figured out.
Until I crashed into the brink of tragedy.
That peak in which you teeter on the line of sanity versus insanity.
The moment where you look forward and see darkness, then look over your shoulder and see more darkness.
Pain is probably down either avenue I choose, but which one will keep me intact?
Which one will make me crumble?
How many times can tragedy happen to a person until they break for good?
One, two, three...

Easton
I grew up in darkness.
I thought I knew what It's like to walk through life shrouded in a world without light.
Pain never mattered much, because it's all I've ever known.
She walked into my life like a sharp thorn that I knew would bleed me dry.
I was okay with that, as long it was her that was by my side.
I never realized that the darkness I lived in wasn't dark at all.
I never really knew darkness.
Until tragedy on top of tragedy strikes and I feel like an atomic bomb ready to detonate.
How long will it take?
Three, two, one...

Trigger warning: Thorn in the Dark contains mature themes that might make some readers uncomfortable. Foul language, criminal activity, drug use, physical and sexual abuse are included in this book. Please proceed with caution.

MY REVIEW
'THORN IN THE DARK'
Is a full length romance novel and the final conclusion of the series (Grove High School #2) by 'A.R. Breck.' Spoken in 'Dual POV's' Hero: Easton Heroine: Rose

Now that I'd literally just inhaled the 1st book for the 2nd time around I was beyond keen to jump on this one so that I can say I finished this series. After the way that cliffy ended I needed to find out what became of this group of misfits.

I’m so glad I found the time between Arcs to fit this one in, this was such an emotional roller coaster of a story, just when you think things can’t get any worse for this couple, they do.

Leaving me...Shocked. Sad. Emotional.

Blind sided like no other, a twist I wish never happened.

Now I’m beyond eager to read Cara & Jackson’s story (The mute & the menace). I know this one will bring me to my knees, I want to know what happened to Jackson when he was younger, he's a guy who in both previous books doesn't say much which makes him a dark horse, but when he does you sit back and take notice of what he's said.

I wish this author wrote faster because I’m loving her stories sooooo freaking much. The characters get under your skin, their stories have you begging for more.

Ok if you've not read this series or come across this author before. STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING and basically "Eenie, Meenie, Miney, Mo" with any of her books and I swear you'll end up loving it..This author came under my radar only recently and I've been lost in her books ever since.
