THEIR KINGDOM COME:
Is the first full length book in The Sinners of Saint Amos series by new to me author Logan Fox. Spoken in 'Dual Perspectives.'
Guilty as charged!! First things first the hot guy on the cover made me one click this!! 👅#CoverHoe
Then seeing this doing the rounds on IG that made me want to read this one even more so!!
It starts off with Trinity Malone, being informed of her parents subsequent death making her newly orphaned, now she's under the guardianship of a former Bishop, Father Gabriel the Provost at Saint Amos all boys school. He was a lifelong friend of her parents that she considers her best friend.
Now things start getting interesting as she's on the radar of four boys. These boys have a plan and she's just thrown a wrench in them. Now they need to find out why she's really there and then get rid of her. And the bullying ensues..
I had to sit back and really think about this one and my rating. I didn't hate it, but I didn't have that rushed feeling of OMG you have to read this book. I did breeze through the pages though because I really wanted to see how this author would wrap it all up. The storyline was good, and held my attention, there was no romance whatsoever which I was really hoping we'd at least see some, but she did find the guys overly attractive. Now onto the bullying, this author didn't hold back. I've got a few bully books under my belt and let me tell you these guys took it to a whole new level. There was one scene where I was a wee bit worried how far it would really go, but she was saved by someone rattling on the door handle.

I'm not sure where the above comes into effect because this was not a romance book, there was no romance in this book whatsoever. And ended on a slight cliffy so I'm guessing this is still to come into effect.
Because I did enjoy this I'm invested enough to read the next book when it releases because yet again I need/want to see how the author plays it, especially after that cliffy.
