My Review
'🅰🅻🅻 🆁🅷🅾🅳🅴🆂 🅻🅴🅰🅳 🅷🅴🆁🅴'
Is a full length age gap, small town romance book by Mariana Zapata.
This author is fast becoming one of my favourites! The QUEEN of slow burns!!
Her quirky sense of humour always comes out through her characters, and this one was no different.
I haven’t giggled so much like I have reading this author's words! Throw in some animals and she’ll get me every time. I crazy loved this book.
All the feels, the giggles, the tears, the swoony moments had me eating out of this author's palm.
thirty-three year old Aurora is at loose ends in her life, from a failed relationship, to living like a nomad from hotel to hotel living out of suitcases as she seeks a place she can call home. And that is what leads her back to her old stomping grounds when she was a child of thirteen and where she'd had fond memories of a mother who had vanished in thin air out on one of her hikes.
With options being slim pickings she rents a small garage apartment in Pagosa in Colorado, from Tobias Rhodes, on the outskirts of town. He was blindsided by his teenage son who had rented the space without his knowledge so when she turns up unannounced things don't go so smoothly.
After much begging he decides to let her stay.
Forty-two year old Tobia's aka Mr Rhodes is a state trooper, a one worded man at the best of times, with a grumpy misdemeanor, a silver fox with the looks that could grace any magazine.
Aurora, was so relatable, she could talk a mile a minute, was steepled in sunshine, and her determination to do things for herself just made her that much more real.
Throw in a teenage boy with a voice like an angel but as shy as they come, this just made the perfect book to curl up with on a cold winter's day, this warmed my heart, glued itself to my soul, and has me excited to read more by this author!!
Another thing which makes this author stick out above the rest is the ability to give us a real to life unique storylines. She doesn't have to throw in twists and turns, to keep us enthralled, her storytelling is magical.
Also she always goes big, I’d love to know what her word count on this one was!
