This review is going to come across as though I need to be shoved in a straight jacket and sent to Animals prison to be dealt with because my mind literally can not process the shit that I just read!!
I can't compare this to ANY BOOK I've previously read, but if I tried to compare it to a movie for gore factor the closest I could think of would be 'SAW' A prison run by three guards, each have their own torture tool, this prison is like no other prison you will ever hear about, these prisoners never get to leave, the only way out is body parts scattered in rats stomachs as they digest each morsel until nothing is left!!
So this was by no means dark for me, gritty yes, some gorey bits thrown in for good measure, but the twists and turns were enough to put this as a 5 star read for me and I'm even throwing it onto my favorite reads for this year!! One because it was unique, two I never knew what was coming at me, three because the shit that went down in this book was sick, twisted, run for the hills now kind of read..
Reading this in the beginning of the book and thinking Animal is one sick motherfucker, he collects the tears and screams of his victims I was like Hell Yes!! And thinking there is no way I am going to connect with this guys character, but wait for it, I actually did!!

Sorry if this review is all over the place it's just where my head is at the moment after finishing this..I think I might need to guzzle a bottle of wine to make my thoughts maybe make sense..
I'd love to see this authors computer and take a sneak peek at her google searches!! When writing this book some hardcore shit must be on her search engines lol
Then I hit the ending and I'm silently screaming inside my head please bring us more!! Because she can't just leave it at that surely!! GAH!!
How am I going to go from this book to a normal book (god that just makes me laugh) a normal book where there is no rat eating flesh, the taker of screams, the torture chambers..Oh my!!
