'VOW OF HATE'
Is a full length stand-alone arranged marriage romance novel by Lylah James
Yesterday was spent on the couch inhaling this beauty, from that point onwards the world ceased to exist, until that last page was devoured. All the feels, all the angst, all the hatred, all the twists and turns, the old feel this story undertook had me enjoying this until the end. But with a wee bit of fine tuning this would've easily been a 5 star read for me, words were repeated throughout repetitively like ground hog day from chapter to chapter all in the name of vengeance.

the vows would not be of love, but of hatred.

Killian was out for vengeance which had been brewing in his blood stream for three long years, losing the love of his life Gracelynn, his first love unhinged him leaving a bitter man in its place, setting him on a path of hatred towards Julianna, the woman he was forced to marry, when the woman he'd given his heart too was buried rotting in the ground because of one reckless moment when the sisters snuck out of the house one night and Julianna crashed the car killing Gracelynn, leaving Julianna with a limp and a one side of her face severely scarred which she covered up by wearing a veil and that's where this story started.
❝ I vow to spend the rest of my life making you regret what you did to Gracelynn.
To hurt you, to break you... and to hate you for the rest of our days.
I will never be your protector, never your defender; I vow to be the villain in your story.
In health and in sickness, through sorrow and pain, for all the days of my life, I will be your worst nightmare. ❞
To say Killian hated Julianna is putting it mildly, with barbed tongue he cut her down to her core, any weakness he uncovered he used against her and eliminated it coldly without remorse.
